We needed a solution to replace our bottled water service for our office and Micah came to the rescue! He was super kind and patient and informative, and best of all, they're a local company! I found him to be very communicative and informative. We have some dogs at home and his demeanor was so calm, they were immediately at ease when he arrived. We had some specifications and what we were looking for in a water softening system, and he explained everything very thoroughly and left us with all the resources we need to make an informative decision. Like it was very considerate of my time and very professional . Their pricing is more reasonable than other companies I have looked into and they don't appear to be any hidden costs. We have not yet started a project with them, but this was my initial impression - they are a company that knows what they're doing. The water testing was incredibly thorough and gave us a lot of information about our tap and drinking water.Posted onVerified Needed a water softening system for the condo, and a drinking water filtration system for the kitchen sink. Saw the positive Yelp reviews (one from a nearby neighbor), and went with PureLux. It was a very frictionless process. Micah came over and checked our environment to determine the best solution/equipment for us. Micah has a great combination of sincerity, charm and professionalism. I really appreciated that, from beginning to end, everything happened the way he said it would happen. No big surprises. Sometimes things go smoothly with the initial sales person you deal with, but then the actual installers show up and aren't so nice. Not this time. 2 guys showed up, one to handle the water-softening system and the other to handle the drinking water filtration system. And both of them again, were very nice and very professional. They finished the job in about 3 hours and explained the need for salt for the softening system (every 6 months) and replacement for the drinking water filters (every 18 months). The drinking water quality was excellent to the taste. I had a measuring device that showed a 15 parts per million purity score (very good). A few days later Micah made a follow-up visit and his device showed a 9 parts per million purity score (even better). The water has also certainly changed as far as hardness is concerned. I can feel the difference in the shower where the little needles of water from my shower head create a bit less of a sting, and my hair and skin feel more soothed afterward. Altogether, we had a very positive and fruitful transaction with PureLux and Micah, and I'm looking forward to them coming back out in 18 months to change out the drinking water filters.Posted onVerified I was incredibly impressed with Micah's delivery of knowledge and service. I'm a very satisfied customer!Posted onVerified I've had the water system for about 2 months now, so now I'm ready for a review. :) My friend who is into very high quality items referred me to Josh. Josh was easy to communicate with to set up the meeting and was very thorough when we met. He wasn't pushy or reading a script -- he listened to my concerns and addressed them thoughtfully. Josh seemed trustworthy and knowledgeable. When it came time to install, 2 men came to install the system outside as well as my kitchen counter (drinking water). They were professional and thorough as well. They even pointed out a leak I had under the house. Now to the system. After the first week or so of particulates coming out of the drinking spout (Josh said it was still fine to drink), I have super clear water to drink. The drinking filtration system is made in Taiwan, FYI. The main system outside is made in the USA. The water is very "slippery," which is standard for all water softening systems. As such, be careful when washing dishes, as I've already broken a couple of china. I wish there was a way to bypass the water hose spouts so that they didn't spew out filtered water (I water my garden a lot), but there isn't. All in all, I'm very satisfied with the product, sales and installation process, and price for this system! The system itself looks great too--both the media tank and salt bin are solid and well put together. Big shoutout to Josh--talking with him really put me at ease. They got back to me within minutes and were ready to answer all my questions. These guys are very knowledgeable., professional and courteous. Micah visited us and went over their system along with testing our water. He walked us step by step as to what we are testing and what we are looking for. He then recommended us their water softener and filteration system along with a alkaline RO system. Visited us on tuesday, had the system installed saturday. The tech guys were super cool and professional. Yes! Professional and respectful. These guys would take their shoes off everytime they entered my house (without me asking them). Thank you Purelux!
